WebRTC mesh networking
ShareFiles can route encrypted file chunks through a middle device (A → B → C) using an application-level mesh with TTL, hop counts and duplicate protection.

Every step is written out, and the most common questions are answered.
Multi-hop routing
Each connected device tells its neighbours which devices it is linked to. If A has no direct link to C but B does, A's encrypted packets travel A → B → C. Every packet has a packet ID, TTL and hop count; duplicates are dropped and loops are prevented.
Range — the honest version
WebRTC is a communication protocol, not a radio. It does not give 10 km range. Each hop is limited by the Wi-Fi or hotspot it uses; longer distances need more real relay devices in between.
