Every step is written out, and the most common questions are answered.

Share files with the internet switched off

ShareFiles sends real files directly from one device to another over WebRTC DataChannels. Both devices only need to be on the same Wi-Fi router or one phone's hotspot — mobile data and internet can be completely off.

Nothing is uploaded. There is no cloud storage and no central server: the bytes travel from your device straight to the receiver.

    Any file, any size

Images, videos, music, PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ZIP, text, CSV or any other file type. Files are split into 64 KB chunks with proper flow control, so multi-gigabyte videos can be sent. The receiver needs enough free browser storage for the file.

    Works as an installed app

Open ShareFiles once while online, wait for “Ready for offline”, then install it from the browser menu. From then on it opens like a normal app with no internet.
